DCS Wins USPS Supplier Excellence Award
Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS) received a USPS Supplier Excellence Award from the United States Postal Service Supply Management organization. The recognition was part of USPS’s 2025 Supplier Performance Awards. DCS leaders—including Curt Kincaid, EVP of DCS (pictured above, third from right)—accepted the award on May 5 at USPS’s 36th Annual Supplier Performance Awards Ceremony, held during the National Postal Forum in Phoenix.
The award recognizes suppliers demonstrating strong contract performance, supply chain best practices, and operational excellence. Judges selected DCS from a pool of more than 11,000 USPS suppliers nationwide.
The recognition follows DCS’s work on USPS’s Regional Processing and Distribution Center in Phoenix. The greenfield project incorporates the Matrix Regional Sorter (MaRS). This high-capacity system is capable of processing over one million packages per day.
According to USPS, the solution improves sorting efficiency by as much as 75% while reducing the facility’s footprint. The project was completed on time and under budget. DCS is now applying the same design approach to a second USPS site in Memphis.
“This Supplier Excellence Award recognition underscores the strength of our collaboration and our shared commitment to execution at a consistently high level,” said Matt Ferguson, DCS President.
