With more than 40 years of experience providing automated system design, installation, and integration services, DCS has created solutions for companies throughout the United States in a broad range of industries and markets. We’ve completed more than 1500 projects ranging from greenfield facilities with completely new systems to expansions and retrofits of existing operations.
DCS has extensive experience in designing and successfully executing parcel handling systems, as well as distribution and fulfillment center systems. With the dramatic expansion of e-commerce, DCS has been increasingly engaged in distribution centers and order fulfillment projects for retailers of all sizes serving several markets, including apparel, accessories, general merchandise, electronics, consumer goods, and more. Many of these retail operations rely on DCS to create systems that execute their strategies for great material handling efficiency and higher throughput in their last mile and middle mile distribution operations.
DCS provides solutions to customers large and small. We’ve been engaged on projects ranging from $200,000 to in excess of $60 million, with teams of specialists dedicated to particular project sizes. Many of our largest customers originally worked with us on a small project during their own start-up phase; as their needs have grown, so too have our service offerings and capabilities.
As a DCS brand agnostic systems integrator, DCS does not have any exclusive relationships with material handling original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Instead of exclusive relationships, we leverage internal best practices in system engineering and design, then specify the optimal equipment for a given solution based on several factors, including performance capability and lead times. This ensures that our customers’ projects stay on schedule.
