Designed Conveyor Systems Showcases Waller Consulting at Modex 2026

DCS Acquires Waller & Associates

Attendees are invited to meet the team from Waller Consulting, a DCS company, in the DCS exhibit throughout the show. Additionally, Waller Consulting will present a seminar exploring how to select among integrators, consultants, and OEMs for systems integration partnerships.

Franklin, Tenn. – February 9, 2026 – Waller Consulting, a Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS) company, announced today that its team of senior warehouse and supply chain consultants will be available to meet with attendees during MODEX 2026, April 13–16 at the Georgia World Congress Center. MODEX attendees are invited to connect with the Waller Consulting team in DCS’ Booth 15511 in Hall B to discuss warehouse automation strategy, network design and optimization, government compliance requirements, and supply chain modernization initiatives.

“As supply chains across commercial industries and the government sector face rising cost pressures, labor constraints, and increasing complexity, organizations are turning to experienced, independent consultants to help navigate automation and network transformation decisions,” explained Mark Kidwell, Principal at Waller Consulting.

“At MODEX, the Waller Consulting team looks forward to engaging with operations leaders, program managers, and government contractors,” he continued. “Our team is available to share practical insights drawn from decades of hands-on experience designing and optimizing distribution networks.”

WALLER CONSULTING TO PRESENT EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR WITH KNAPP, DCS

Additionally, Kidwell will present an on-floor educational seminar with Chris James, Director of Sales at KNAPP, and Curt Kincaid, Executive Vice President of Solutions and Growth at DCS. During “Integrators vs. Consultants vs. OEMs: Choosing the Right Partner for Material Handling Success,” the trio will overview the different value propositions associated with engaging each third-party partnership type for automated system design and implementation.

They’ll also offer approaches to evaluate and select the optimal partner model for a given project to maximize return on investment (ROI) and reduce risk. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, April 14 from 1:30 – 2:15 p.m. in Theater A, located on the right-hand wall in Hall C. The session is free for registered attendees of MODEX. Those who are unable to join the seminar can view the slides synced to an audio recording after the show concludes via modexshow.com.

WALLER CONSULTING SERVES BOTH GOVERNMENT AND COMMERCIAL CLIENTS FOR SUPPLY CHAIN CONSULTING

Founded in 2009 as Waller Associates by Jeff Waller, the company was acquired by DCS in 2024. Waller Consulting’s clients are not obligated to utilize DCS for subsequent systems integration work unless they choose to do so.

A General Services Administration (GSA)-registered business, Waller Consulting partners with both government and commercial clients to streamline distribution operations, reduce costs, increase profitability, and elevate customer satisfaction. The firm brings deep expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance, Defense Business Systems, and the requirements of the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), helping government contractors meet complex regulatory and operational demands.

Waller Consulting’s team of warehouse and supply chain consultants combines decades of hands-on industry experience with advanced data analytics, automation, and network optimization capabilities. Each consultant brings more than 30 years of practical experience and personally leads client engagements, ensuring solutions are grounded in real-world operations—not theory. In addition to warehouse automation consulting, Waller Consulting provides operational assessments, logistics network design evaluations, and supply chain risk mitigation reviews.
