This acquisition reflects a shared commitment between DCS and IMI to continue providing material handling solutions that allow their customers to keep their promise to deliver on time.
Franklin, TN – April 5, 2023 – Material handling systems integrator Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS) is pleased to announce its acquisition of Industrial Maintenance, Inc. (IMI), which has offered millwright and fabrication services since 1986.
Located in Topeka, Kansas, IMI is family owned and operated. The company has a solid industry reputation for its quality workmanship, dedication to safety, and strong client relationships. IMI currently serves customers in parcel handling, industrial services, and specialty manufacturing industries. The firm also provides system integration services for one of the largest parcel carriers in the United States.
“We’re excited to welcome IMI to the DCS family and look forward to working with them to help take their business to the next level,” says Matt Ferguson, President of DCS. “IMI has a talented team and a strong reputation with key clients. Under the terms of the agreement, IMI will continue to operate under its existing branding and its leadership team will remain in place. IMI’s leadership team, including President Todd Harrington, will work closely with Ferguson and the DCS team to support the continued success of its clients.
